This is event is free and open to the public.

Let’s Get EGG-CITED!

Friends of South Florida Music invites you to participate in our annual Let’s Get EGG-cited project. After you have enjoyed a fun-filled egg hunt, support our project by donating your eggs to Friends of South Florida Music. We will then prepare them as shakers for children who are in need of musical instruments. Last year, your recycled eggs and monetary support provided over 1,500 egg shakers for children throughout the South Florida area as well as community service hours for our middle and high school students.

If you choose to participate, please make sure that each egg is empty of any contents, clean and whole (with both parts put together). Then, bring them to your South Florida Music instructor or a designated drop off location. In addition to recycling your eggs, we welcome donations to Friends of South Florida Music that will purchase the needed aquarium rock and heavy duty colored electrical tape to make the shakers.

2nd Annual South Florida Music Benefit Concert, sponsored by Friends of South Florida Music

Friends of South Florida Music is the provider of needed scholarship funding for our South Florida Music classes. This year, more than $4,300 in scholarship money was provided to help families participate in our fee-based offerings. The 2nd Annual South Florida Music Benefit Concert, sponsored by Friends of South Florida Music, is the primary fundraising event for this initiative. Our enrolled children are hard at work preparing their musical offerings for the April 22nd shows. Your ticket and ad purchases, which can be placed at here, drive this funding. We can’t wait to celebrate with you on April 22nd!

With your help, we can continue this effort and share the love of music other deserving children. Please visit friendsofsfm.org today and support our foundation.
