Jammin’ in My Jammies is available for either a full 13 week semester (beginning the week of September 8-12 through December 8-12), or by choosing one or more mini-sessions!
Mini-Session 1: 4 weeks (beginning the week of September 8-12 and ending September 29-October 3)
Mini-Session 2: 4 weeks (beginning the week of October 6-10 and ending October 27-31)
Mini-Session 3: 5 weeks (beginning the week of November 3-7 and ending December 8-12, no classes Thanksgiving week)
Ages: While this class is designed for young children, everyone in the family will enjoy participating and having fun!
Class Length: 30 minutes, once a week LIVE on Zoom

South Florida Music is currently accepting registrations for our full fall semester or Mini-Session 1. If you are interested in Mini-Session 2 or 3, please contact our office. Due to the the digital nature of these classes, no refunds nor credits will be available for Mini Session enrollments.
Description: Put on your jammies in the morning or evening and join together as a family to build strong musical bonds through singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, stories, and playing simple instruments. A mix of stationary and mobile activities will occur. These activities bridge the natural connection between music and movement, while your child’s musical aptitude, listening abilities, and overall potential are enhanced and further developed. Literacy will also be nurtured through stories building vocabulary, sequence, and expression.
Musical Goals: Feel and demonstrate steady beat; Encourage singing; Introduction to rhythm and tonal patterns; Begin to recognize musical form; Play a variety of age appropriate instruments; Form a bank of familiar songs
Developmental Goals: Develop gross and fine motor skills; Build cognitive connections; Develop language connections and aural skills; Exhibit body awareness and self-regulation; Strengthen social, emotional, and self-help skills
